Transformation advice needs context
Transformations fail when advice ignores context, maturity, consequences, and the decisions that must be made first.
Every transformation starts with advice. Some of it is useful. Some of it sounds motivating while quietly undermining execution.
The problem is advice that ignores context, maturity, and consequences. Moving fast, copying another organization, or hoping culture follows technology can all create shortcuts through complexity that do not hold.
The better advice is usually simple: clarify before you scale, align before you accelerate, and decide before you optimize.
