From Developer to Enterprise Architect
From Developer to Enterprise Architect
From Developer to Enterprise Architect
I started my career writing
& C# code, first alone and later in a small dev team. Back then, "architecture" felt like something abstract: slides, buzzwords, and frameworks.
Fast-forward 15 years: I've learned great architecture isn't about technology. Great architecture is about people, communication, & enablement. Architecture scales only through people.
I moved from writing classes to designing ecosystems and organizations and moved from execution to strategy, but one thing never changed: the curiosity to understand why things work.
Today's fast-paced and rapid development cycles in many sectors don't allow us to stop learning.
Staying curious is no longer optional, it's the most important skill, a survival skill.
If you're a developer wondering whether architecture is for you, it starts with asking better questions, not drawing better boxes. Curiosity is the compass that guides you through the jungle of complexity.
What helped you make the leap from building features to shaping systems?
